Scope of Work
The Finance & Logistics Junior Manager is a key position within iMMAP's Country Program, with support responsibility for all in-country personnel staff and key senior manager’s decision makers and establish an effective Admin, Logistic, Finance department that will effectively support all goals and strategies of the iMMAP Country Program.
Under the line management of the Finance/HR Manager in Gaziantep, contribution to the respect of all the Finance & Logistics rules and deadlines are handled according to IMMAP standards.
According to the position, the Finance & Logistics Junior Manager must keep all the data confidential, and share it only with the accurate persons.
Specific Tasks Include:
Responsible to establish a functional support department that will, effectively support all iMMAP activities.
Responsible for supporting all new iMMAP staff members; training, mentoring, and required human resources paperwork for all staff.
Responsible to ensure that all support needs of the iMMAP are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsible for budgeting and auditing requirements, and will be responsible for the routine administration of all iMMAP national staff, cash disbursements, and other reoccurring administration, financial and logistical support requirements.
Responsible for developing Standard Working Procedures (SWP) for the iMMAP support functionality which deal with all aspect of finance, administration and logistical functionality
In conjunction with the Finance/HR Manager, is participating for promulgating the iMMAP budget.
Responsible to provide advice and guidance to the PM on all finance, administration and logistical support functionality and requirements.
Responsible for an official or unofficial translation facilitation required by iMMAP Management or international staff.
Asked to backstop the IMO when required.
Provide weekly reports to Finance/HR Manager to support donor reporting requirements.
Any additional tasks requested by the Finance/HR Manager
Accountability to Beneficiaries:
iMMAP team members are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to beneficiaries of iMMAP programs, and to international standards guiding international relief and development work while actively engaging beneficiary communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring and evaluation of field projects.
Chain of Command:
The iMMAP Finance & Logistics Junior Manager reports to the iMMAP Finance/HR Manager. Works in close consultation with the iMMAP Country Team.
Qualifications
- Education: A degree in financial management, administration or similar
- Experience: 2 year of progressively responsible experience in business administration and humanitarian affairs is desirable.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and Turkish
